Sunday was spent exploring some new places along the coast north of Sooke. The coast line by Muir Creek and the Sheringham Point lighthouse! Followed by a quick stop at the Tugwell Creek Meadery for some honey and mead! Time well spent :)
After much less hair-pulling than was expected, the website is up and running :) I worked with a template from Weebly, and registered the domain with Go Daddy. The whole effort went off pretty flawlessly!
I have been spending far too much time on a computer as of late, doing lots of planning and researching for The Natural Connection, but now that this site is up and running I am feeling I have the time to get back on the trail. I went for a quick sunset trail-run along the East Sooke Coastal trail the other day, got back to the car under the last fading moments of daylight with a strong feeling of contentment. Time spent in nature, completely detached from the world, doesn't solve all your problems, but it always creates a new perspective towards them. Sometimes I hit the trail to run, sometimes to hike, to get some specific photos, to de-stress, or just because it's a beautiful day, but every time I come back feeling better with more than I expected. |
